I’m based in Buffalo, NY, where I live with my husband, Matt (an incredible veterinarian at Springville Animal Hospital—yes, I’ll take any chance to brag!), and our dog, Maverick.
Photography has been a lifelong passion of mine. I was always that person that made all of my friends do photoshoots in middle school. I took my first classes in high school, then spent five years working alongside the Creative Director at the church I go to, diving deep into photography, videography, and graphic design. For years, I managed coffee shops and pursued that passion until my sister convinced me it was time to take the leap into wedding photography. Three years ago Willow & Oak Photography was born—turning my dream into a full-time reality.
I believe every couple has a story worth telling, and I’m passionate about bringing that story to life through photography and videography. My goal is to capture the raw emotions, fleeting moments, and deep connections that make each love story one of a kind. I am incredibly grateful that God has given me this talent and gift.
In 2018, after spending two months in Nepal working with women who had survived human trafficking, I knew that whatever path my life took, it had to be one of service. That experience shaped not only who I am but also the foundation of Willow & Oak. Photography and videography may be our craft, but our heart lies in something greater—giving back, uplifting others, and making a real difference.
As a team, we believe in being part of something bigger than ourselves. When you invest in us, you’re also investing in the fight against human trafficking. A portion of our profits at the end of each year will be donated to organizations that are making a real impact: International Justice Mission (IJM) and PATH (People Against Trafficking Humans), a Buffalo-based organization.
But our commitment doesn’t stop there. Every bride who books with us will receive a small gift handcrafted by a woman who has been rescued from human trafficking—a symbol of resilience, hope, and the power of second chances.
At Willow & Oak, we don’t just capture moments—we stand for freedom, for safety, and for the stories that deserve to be told.
